El italiano Paolo Bettini se ha hecho hoy con un merecido y esperado triunfo en el Mundial de Salzburgo por delante de Erik Zabel y Alejandro Valverde tras aprovecharse del trabajo que Samuel Sánchez hizo para el murciano, cortando a todos los sprinters y dejando el triunfo entre éstos tres ciclistas
